CHRISTMAS SONG, MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Hi!:
Merry Christmas! Listen this song!
God bless you
.

.
VENI veni, Emmanuel
captivum solve Israel,
qui gemit in exsilio,
privatus Dei Filio.
.
R: Gaude! Gaude! Emmanuel,
nascetur pro te Israel!
.
O COME, O come, Emmanuel,
and ransom captive Israel,
that morns in lonely exile here
until the Son of God appear.
.
R: Rejoice! Rejoice! O Israel,
to thee shall come Emmanuel!
.
Veni, O Sapientia,
quae hic disponis omnia,
veni, viam prudentiae
ut doceas et gloriae. R.
.
O come, Thou Wisdom, from on high,
and order all things far and nigh;
to us the path of knowledge show,
and teach us in her ways to go. R.
.
Veni, veni, Adonai,
qui populo in Sinai
legem dedisti vertice
in maiestate gloriae. R.
.
O come, o come, Thou Lord of might,
who to thy tribes on Sinai's height
in ancient times did give the law,
in cloud, and majesty, and awe. R.
.
Veni, O Iesse virgula, [Radix]
ex hostis tuos ungula,
de spectu tuos tartari
educ et antro barathri. R.
.
O come, Thou Rod of Jesse's stem,
from ev'ry foe deliver themthat trust
Thy mighty power to save,
and give them vict'ry o'er the grave. R.
.
Veni, Clavis Davidica,
regna reclude caelica,
fac iter tutum superum,
et claude vias inferum. R.
.

O come, Thou Key of David,
come, and open wide our heav'nly home,
make safe the way that leads on high,
that we no more have cause to sigh. R.
.
Veni, veni O Oriens,
solare nos adveniens,
noctis depelle nebulas,
dirasque mortis tenebras. R.
.
O come, Thou Dayspring from on high,
and cheer us by thy drawing nigh;
disperse the gloomy clouds of nightand
death's dark shadow put to flight. R.
.
Veni, veni, Rex Gentium,
veni, Redemptor omnium,
ut salvas tuos famulos
peccati sibi conscios. R.
.
O come, Desire of the nations,
bindin one the hearts of all mankind;
bid every strife and quarrel cease
and fill the world with heaven's peace. R.

TO LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF

"...36
"Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
37
He said to him, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
38
This is the greatest and the first commandment.
39
The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself..."

Matthew 22, 36-39

.
The second commandment is similar to the first. Why? Because...

"...31
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne,
32
and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34
Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.'
37
Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?'
40
And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41
Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
43
a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.'
44

Then they will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?'
45
He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.'
46
And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."..."

Matthew 25, 31-46
.
plus
.
"...Do to no one what you yourself dislike..." Tobit 4, 15.
.
"...Do to others as you would have them do to you..." Luke 6, 31
.
plus
.
"...26 Then God said: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the cattle, and over all the wild animals and all the creatures that crawl on the ground."..." Genesis 1, 26
.
My theory:
.
God made man in his image, so the good things you do to others is like you do to God.

THANKS GIVING

"...11 As he continued his journey to Jerusalem, he traveled through Samaria and Galilee.
12 As he was entering a village, ten lepers met (him). They stood at a distance from him
13 and raised their voice, saying, "Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!"
14 And when he saw them, he said, "Go show yourselves to the priests."
As they were going they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice;
16 and he fell at the feet of Jesus and thanked him. He was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus said in reply, "Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine?
18 Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?"
19 Then he said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has saved you."..."
Luke 17, 11-19
.
"...16 Rejoice always.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus..."
1 Thessalonians 5, 16-18

.
The will of God is to give thanks.
...
There are a lot of thinks to give thanks to the Lord. But I think is specially important to give thanks to the Lord because He forgive us for our sins and because of his Salvation.
.
We were condemned to go to hell, but Jesus died for us and He saved us. He let us go to Heaven:
.
"...23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord..." Romans 6, 23
.
The death means "go to hell". But the gift of God, the Salvation of God, is eternal life, is"to go to Heaven".
.
We can´t thank the Lord enough for what He did for us.
.............................................
The priest say this in the holy mass, I translate this words from spanish:
.
"...En verdad es justo y necesario, es nuestro deber y salvación darte gracias siempre y en todo lugar, Señor Padre Santo, Dios Todopoderoso y eterno..."
.
"it is truly right and necessary, it is our duty and salvation to give thanks [to you] always and everywhere, Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God..."
.
More o less.
